The word Reiki comes from the Japanese meaning ‘Universal Life Force Energy’. It helps us move towards balance and wellness using a simple relaxation technique that activates the body’s natural healing abilities.
The art of hands-on healing dates back thousands of years. Rediscovered through Sanskrit texts at the beginning of the 20th century by a Japanese theologist Dr Mikau Usui, many schools 0f Reiki have developed through his findings.
